T-Shirt tessellation

A tessellation in a t-shirt is cool to do and have fun. You will need some materials to do this. You will need your tessellation, some permanent markers, a hanger, newspaper, t-shirt,viniger, and alcohol.Frist you need to get your tessellation and put it at your t-shirt and start drawing at your t-shirt with your marker. When you’re done doing that you get your hanger and newspaper and stick them together. Then you put the newspaper in between the shirt. then you spray vinegar at your shirt so it could spread out. Then you spray it with alcohol so it could not get ruined when you wash it . then you live it out side so it could dry.


 

How to create a tessellation

What we need to do a tessellation. What we need is an index card and some scissors. A tessellation is pretty simple you just need a pattern. That pattern needs to fit together without gaps. You could be creative like you can invent your own shape. I’m doing a fox face on my shirt and it coming out nice. There are different tessellations some even look 3-D and they are cool .One tessellation I like was old men sitting behind one another. I would like to do that one but I’m not that good a drawing many stuffs.

  

Interoduction

In math class were learning about tessellations. What is a tessellation? A tessellation is a pattern of different shapes without gaps. Every shape has to fit perfectly into one another. A pattern be different but must fit together. You can paint them however you want to. In my math class we are doing shirts with tessellations on them. The tessellation I’m doing is a fox’s face and it coming out pretty cool. There are different tessellations like there one old people sitting behind one another. I’m sure that everybody has done a cool tessellation and I would like to see it
